As the shortest day of the year is here, evening falls fast. Hoping for something spectacular, found myself painting this. The idea was to show the lit horizon, the dampy blue distant view. In the distance it's Scheveningen. And smoke coming from some industry. I love the restfulness about it. I wanted it to have a horizontal-wide-view feeling. Buffer

Lovely grey values and subtle mood.Very much like my Oregon coast except we have more rocks.
